Privacy Policy — ProofShot

ProofShot is a Chrome extension that formats a user-selected screenshot region into a styled testimonial image.

What we collect

Nothing. No personal data, no analytics, no usage information. We have no servers.

Screen capture

The visible page is captured only when you click the ProofShot toolbar icon. The captured image is held temporarily in your browser's local extension storage, passed to the editor page on your own device, and removed immediately after it loads. It is never transmitted anywhere — ProofShot makes zero network requests.

Permissions we use

• activeTab — captures the current page only on your explicit click, so you can select a testimonial visible on screen.
• storage — hands the captured image from the background process to the editor page, on your device only.

Third parties

None. No data leaves your browser.

Data deletion

Since nothing is stored outside your device, there is nothing for us to delete. Uninstalling the extension removes everything.
